These are pictures of our focus group. We showed them our 2 minute intro and they commented on it, they gave us some feedback. They talked to us about they liked and what could be improved.

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS
Two people, one girl, one boy designated to be together. The movie starts with him at work very dedicated but the quick movements shows that he is in a rush , there’s mid-shots to show to the audience his face and long shot to show the guys faces that are working there. A happy music sound at the background to make the audience feel the moment, diagetic sound when the phone rings, mid shots to show the conversation trough the phone between two people , they seem that they are talking the same conversation , there’s mid-shot cuts in every sentence that one of them says finishing the sentence that one starts , seems that they are having the same conversation as a couple but they don’t , when the conversation trough the phone finishes they both were talking to different persons. This makes the audience think that something is going to happened between both of them in this romantic comedy , and this excites the audience.

NO STRINGS ATTACHED

Music is fast , ‘I wanna sex you up’ sexual song. Titles explain that it set 15 years ago far the two characters. Goes to two people a boy and a girl which seems that they like each other sitting talking about the family problems that the guy has and ending up in sexual conversation which the girl doesn’t want (too young). Cuts 5 years ago when the same couple is in uni, establishing shot of some house, mid and close-shots of people dancing/drinking, rap music. The guy recognises the girl in a normal pyjama was the same girl as 10 years ago. This gives to the audience the idea that this two guys are meant to be together even of the time.

THE PROPOSAL
Fast upbeat music, Establishing shot of a forest and the camera is making the audience feel like that are walking through. Zoom out to mid shot of women exercising on a treadmill watching it on there , cut to mid-shot of man walking up and realising he is late for work so is rushing , east shot of him running through the sheets and going into a coffee shop.

The story is about a cold women that is the executive editor in chief of a book publishing company and she is really cold and no one likes her , she doesn’t have her visa so that’s why she tried to convince her assistant to marry her , a romantic comedy movie that ends in a real love.

The Concept

The Concept

MasterMovies is a film company that specializes in producing high quality films of a various amount of genre’s. Our company consists of Anna Moldovan, Veronika Pavlova, Tyler Hutchings and Dean Golding.

We plan on producing a Romantic-Comedy film.

Veronika Pavlova is our Director, Dean Golding is our Producer, Anna Moldovan is our Editor and Tyler Hutchings is our Scriptwriter. As a group, we have all decided to be the Casting Director’s so that we can all work as a team to find and hire world-class actors to produce a high quality, money making Romantic-Comedy film to perfection. Our target audience will be young females from the age of 15 – 30 years old. We will film our movie in school and in various classrooms. Auditions will take place at first break the 6^th – 9^th of December.

Our film will be about a ‘clumsy’ looking boy who is in love with a girl in his class who is the most popular and prettiest girl in his school who unfortunately already has a boyfriend. However her boyfriend is very ‘cocky’, he shows off, and is always rude to her. The boyfriend is cheating on the girl and the clumsy boy finds out and wants to prove it to her but every time he does it, it all goes wrong. The clumsy boy has a best friend who is a girl who gives him a makeover. The pretty girl finds out that her boyfriend has cheated and turns to the clumsy boy for help, they fall in love and end up together.
